Volunteer Activities cum Training
Benji’s Centre has actively encouraged the public to participate in our volunteer works. The Centre has registered under The Steering Committee on Promotion of Volunteer Service from the Social Welfare Department a few years ago to assist volunteers in calculating the volunteering hours. Up to March 2025, the number of volunteers reached 1,430 and the total volunteering hours were 2571. In 2024-25, Benji’s Centre organized 14 training courses and seminars for the volunteers. A total of 409 volunteers joined the training courses and seminars.
Volunteer Committee
Every year the Volunteer Committee is devoted in organizing comprehensive activities for Centre’s families, letting the families have an enjoyable time. The Committee members and volunteers also participated in home visits with our social workers regularly. We extends our heartfelt gratitude to the members of the Volunteer Committee for their dedicated service and support over the past decade. As the majority of members have successively resigned due to personal reasons, the Volunteer Committee will now undergo a restructuring.
